Got two discs from Microsoft in the mail One is an x64 and one is an x86. Neither will install on my computer. It says to put in my cd drive and follow instructions. Nothing happens. When I look at the discs through my computer to see what is on them they both look blank. I am totally confused. Any help Please

Vista Beta 2 discs install
There have been many reports of the installation disks that were shipped out were bad and do not work unfortunately. Some people haven't had any issues, but there are a lot more than should be having problems. You can try to boot off of the DVD to see if that works though. ---------- Mark Dietz PROnetworks <http://www.pro-networks.org> http://imnuts.gotdns.org/blog/

Does your computer have a DVD Drive?
It sounds like you may just have a CD Drive, which does not accept DVDs.

I have the exact same problem. I have tried installing from my DVD drive, but the drive light just keeps flashing. You cannot read anything. Is there a contact e-mail at Microsoft? -- Kevin
